Description
The 10Gbps SFP+ ER Transceiver is designed for long-reach 10G optical networks, supporting 10GBASE-ER/EW Ethernet and 8.5G/10G Fiber Channel applications. This single-mode module operates over distances up to 40 kilometers, providing reliable, high-speed connectivity for data centers, metro networks, and enterprise backbone deployments.
The module features a cooled EML laser transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver integrated with a TIA, ensuring high sensitivity and stable optical performance. Digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) via a 2-wire serial interface allows real-time access to key parameters including transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted and received optical power, and supply voltage. The module fully complies with Class I laser safety requirements, ensuring safe operation in all network environments.
With low power dissipation, a 3.3V power supply, and RoHS-compliant lead-free construction, the SFP+ ER module offers energy efficiency, durability, and environmental compliance. Its hot-pluggable design allows easy installation and replacement in high-density network equipment.
