Description
The 10Gbps SFP+ LR Transceiver is a high-performance optical module designed for short- to medium-reach 10G networks over legacy multimode fiber (MMF). Operating at 1310nm, it supports the 10GBASE-LRM Ethernet standard and enables reliable 10Gbps data transmission up to 2 kilometers on OM1 multimode fiber.
This module integrates a 1310nm Fabry-Perot (FP) laser transmitter and a linear multimode PIN photodiode receiver in a compact LC package. Its linear-interface design works in conjunction with host board Electronic Dispersion Compensation (EDC) to correct modal dispersion, ensuring stable transmission even over legacy FDDI multimode fiber installations.
The SFP+ module is lead-free, RoHS compliant, and features low power consumption, a metal enclosure for EMI protection, and a duplex LC connector. Its small form factor allows high port density, making it suitable for data centers and high-performance networking environments.
