Description

The 10Gbps SFP+ SR Transceiver is a high-performance multimode module designed for short-range 10G Ethernet applications. Operating at 850nm, it supports transmission distances up to 300 meters over multimode fiber and is ideal for high-density data center and enterprise network environments. This module integrates a Fabry-Perot (FP) laser transmitter and a linear PIN photodetector in a compact SFP+ form factor, enabling efficient, low-power operation while maintaining excellent EMI performance.

Engineered for IEEE802.3aq 10GBASE-LRM compliant links, the transceiver works in conjunction with Electronic Dispersion Compensation (EDC) on the host board to correct modal dispersion on multimode fiber, including legacy FDDI fiber installations. Its small form factor and hot-pluggable design allow seamless integration into high-density switches, servers, and network equipment. The module is lead-free, RoHS compliant, and rigorously tested to meet industry safety and performance standards.

The transceiver’s digital diagnostics monitoring interface provides real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage, bias current, and optical power, ensuring network reliability and operational efficiency.
