Description
FiberMania’s 10/100M BiDi Fiber Media Converter provides a cost-effective solution to extend Ethernet networks over long distances using single-mode fiber. With one SC fiber port and one RJ45 port, this converter allows CAT5/5e/6 copper networks to be connected to fiber networks, supporting up to 20KM of transmission without signal loss.
This converter features a built-in 2-port switch capable of low-latency or extreme low-latency forwarding, optional packet fragment forwarding, and 128Kb RAM for stable data buffering. It is ideal for campus networks, broadcasting systems, intelligent residential networks, and enterprise Ethernet deployments.
