Description
The 40G QSFP+ LR4 Transceiver is a high-performance optical module designed for 40Gbps transmission over single-mode fiber using four CWDM channels in the 1310nm band. Each channel transmits 10Gbps electrical data, which is converted into optical signals by a 4-wavelength DFB laser array. These CWDM optical signals are multiplexed into a single 40Gb/s optical link, enabling efficient long-reach interconnects up to 10 kilometers.
On the receiver side, the module de-multiplexes the 40Gb/s optical input into four separate CWDM channels and converts them back to 10Gb/s electrical signals using discrete photodiodes amplified by TIAs. The transceiver features a duplex LC connector for the optical interface and a 38-pin connector for the electrical interface. Digital diagnostics monitoring allows real-time access to operating parameters including temperature, optical power, and supply voltage.
Designed according to QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 40G QSFP+ LR4 standards, this module provides high reliability and interoperability. Its compact QSFP+ form factor and low power consumption make it ideal for data center, telecom, and high-density networking environments.
