Description
The 25G SFP28 SR 850nm optical transceiver is a high-speed, short-reach module designed for next-generation data center and enterprise network applications. Operating at a nominal wavelength of 850nm over laser-optimized multi-mode fiber, it supports data rates of up to 25Gbps and delivers reliable, low-latency optical connectivity for 25G Ethernet environments.
This transceiver provides a maximum transmission distance of up to 100 meters on OM4 multi-mode fiber and up to 70 meters on OM3 fiber, while also supporting shorter distances on OM2 fiber. Its short-reach architecture makes it ideal for intra-data-center links such as switch-to-switch, switch-to-server, and top-of-rack connections where performance and cost efficiency are critical.
