Description
The Mode Conditioning Fiber Optic Patch Cable, 2 x ST 62.5/125 to 1 x SC 9/125 & 1 x SC 62.5, 3M is engineered to enable smooth connection between multimode fiber equipment and single-mode interfaces. By conditioning the optical signal, it minimizes differential mode delay (DMD) and ensures high-speed, low-loss transmission.
This cable features two ST 62.5/125 multimode connectors on the input side and dual SC connectors on the output—one for single-mode (9/125) and one for multimode (62.5/125). The 3-meter length provides flexibility for patch panel, workstation, or data center installation. Mode conditioning fiber allows legacy multimode systems to achieve higher performance over longer distances without replacing existing cabling.
