Description
The 800G OSFP to 2×400G QSFP112 Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a high-density breakout optical interconnect designed to connect one 800G OSFP112 interface to two independent 400G QSFP112 interfaces. Supporting 106.25Gbps PAM4 per lane across eight optical lanes in each direction, it provides an efficient solution for 800G-to-2×400G Ethernet breakout applications. The cable integrates 850nm VCSEL transmitter arrays and PIN photodetector arrays with OM3 multimode fiber to support transmission distances of up to 30m. Integrated DSP, DDM/DOM monitoring, hot-pluggable interfaces, and a 3.3V power supply support reliable high-speed operation, while the armored construction provides enhanced mechanical protection for demanding installations. It is suitable for high-density data centers, AI and GPU clusters, HPC systems, and other next-generation Ethernet environments.
