Description
The MTP/MPO Fanout Fiber Optic Cable is a high-density breakout cable designed to distribute a multi-fiber MTP/MPO connection into individual LC, SC, ST, or FC connections for direct connection to network equipment, patch panels, and fiber distribution systems. Available in 12- or 24-fiber configurations with 0.9mm fanout fibers, it supports both multimode and single-mode options and can be customized with different connector types, fiber counts, lengths, and jacket materials. The cable uses US Conec MTP® connectors and Corning ClearCurve® glass fiber, with low insertion loss and reliable return loss performance. Its plug-and-play factory-terminated design simplifies installation and is well suited for high-density data centers, telecommunications networks, and optical cross-connect applications.

Q&A
What connector configurations are available?
The fanout cable can be configured from an MTP/MPO connector to LC, SC, ST, or FC connectors according to the equipment and patching requirements.
What fiber counts are available?
12- and 24-fiber configurations are available as standard options. Other fiber counts can be customized for specific applications.
Can the cable be supplied with different fiber types?
Yes. The cable can be manufactured with multimode or single-mode fiber, including different fiber grades and specifications according to the transmission requirements.
What is the purpose of the 0.9mm fanout design?
The 0.9mm fiber construction provides a compact and flexible breakout solution for high-density installations where space around patch panels, racks, and equipment is limited.
Can the MTP/MPO connector be male or female?
Yes. Both MTP/MPO male and female configurations are available, allowing the cable to be matched with different adapter and trunk cable configurations.
