Description

The GYTY53 double-sheathed and armored outdoor optical fiber cable is engineered for long-distance transmission and harsh environmental installations. Its stranded loose-tube structure, combined with high-strength steel central strength members, ensures exceptional mechanical stability and protection for the optical fibers. The loose tubes provide adequate secondary excess length, allowing the fibers to remain stress-free even when the cable undergoes tension or temperature fluctuations. This design effectively maintains fiber integrity during installation and long-term operation.

A combination of steel tape armor, inner and outer PE sheaths, water-blocking materials, and full jelly filling provides reliable resistance against crushing, moisture penetration, rodent attacks, and environmental stress. The double PE sheath further enhances durability and UV resistance, making the cable suitable for aerial installation, duct installation, and direct outdoor deployment. Supporting fiber counts ranging from 2 to 144 cores and commonly supplied with G.652D single-mode fibers, this cable is an ideal solution for trunk networks, metro networks, and long-haul communication systems.
