Description
The FiberMania GYTC8S Figure 8 optical fiber cable is designed for aerial outdoor applications, providing a reliable, self-supporting structure suitable for long-distance transmission. Named for its figure-8 design, the cable integrates a central steel strength member and stranded suspension line to provide both mechanical stability and ease of installation.
Available in 2 to 144 fibers, the cable features a water-blocking jelly-filled loose tube containing G652D single-mode fibers. Optional PP fillers ensure additional structural support where needed. The cable is longitudinally armored with copolymer-coated steel tape and protected by a UV-resistant PE outer sheath, offering excellent protection against environmental factors, crushing, and tensile stress.
With superior mechanical and temperature performance, the GYTC8S cable is resistant to hydrolysis and crushing, ensuring long-term reliability. Its flexible design allows for easy deployment in aerial, pipeline, and other outdoor distribution networks.
